A Finer Cut of Construction
They’re everywhere we go, making messes and disrupting our daily routines. They work on streets, buildings, new homes, apartments and even our homes. We look at what they’re building, wanting to be impressed. However, most of us don’t actually see the people doing the work. We don’t wonder about how skillful they might be. Many people stereotype construction workers, lump them all together, and cast a wary, nervous eye in their direction. We’re nervous about letting them in our homes and worry that we’ll get fleeced when they finish their project. After all, construction owners and workers are just a group of rough guys that are out to charge the most money for the least amount of effort and care, right? All of the above can be true. Unfortunately, it’s true way too often, but I’m here to tell you that there’s a finer cut of construction workers out there that have skills and integrity.
